Fastwarm® insulation boards are designed to meet the very specific needs of the underfloor heating industry: capable of supporting thin screeds, tile floors or wood laminate flooring directly. Fastwarm® insulation boards' unique properties of high strength and low thermal conductivity make them the ideal floor insulation for all electric cable or hot water underfloor heating systems.

Fastwarm® insulation boards are manufactured from extruded polystyrene foam, produced without the use of CFC or HCFC blowing agents, have zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and are fully recyclable.

Physical insulation board properties

Fastwarm® insulation boards have high thermal insulation properties, high compressive strength (30 tonnes per m²) capable of supporting long term static loading, waterproof, rot resistant, light weight, easy to handle, easily cut and shaped with a sharp knife, available in various depths from 6 mm to 60 mm and low cost.

Using Fastwarm® insulation boards

Fastwarm® insulation boards have a specially prepared surface to accept all water based floor tile adhesives and will form a strong bond without the need for further priming; cement screeds are poured on top in the normal way. Laminate flooring can be laid dry directly on top with no other preparation.
